With the opening of its premium parcel shop, GLS Germany is setting a new standard for city logistics in Dortmund for the coming years. Where parcels are usually handed over the counter and snacks are sold, this shop looks like a modern bistro – with warm colors, comfortable lounge furniture, and digital terminals instead of queues. These terminals now run clips that we produced together with real customers and employees when they are in standby mode. Within seconds, customers can reach their destination, pay digitally, and pick up their parcels. GLS is thus making targeted use of state-of-the-art technology for the benefit of its customers in order to further advance logistics. In line with the slogan “Parcels to People.”
